“The Cask of a Amontillado”
How it used the three types of irony: verbal, dramatic, and situation

Verbal Irony.
When Montresor telling Fortunado that he’s so important, beloved, and wishes him a long live; even though Montresor is about to kill him.

Dramatic Irony.
The audience know of Montresor’s plans but everyone else in the story is completely oblivious.

Situational Irony.

In the beginning of the story, Fortunado is wearing a jester outfit and Montresor is wearing all black.
