1.) Blandly - lacking in special interest, liveliness, individuality, etc.; dull

2.) Gaunt - extremely thin and bony; or bleak, desolate, or grim, as places or things

3.) Indolently - having or showing a disposition to avoid exertion; slothful

4.) Scruples - a moral or ethical consideration or standard that acts as a restraining force or inhibits certain actions

5.) Gossamer - a fine, filmy cobweb seen on grass or bushes or floating in the air in calm weather, especially in the fall

6.) Palpable - able to be touched or felt

7.) Nocturnal - active at night; of or pertaining to the night

8.) Futile - incapable of producing any results; ineffective;useless; not successful

9.) Furtive - sly; shifty: taken, done, or used surreptitiously or by stealth; secret

10.) Reciprocate - to make a return, as for something given; interchange

11.) Naive - having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information
